February 15th 2009 Results are in from the Art Tommy Memorial series at Calabogie this weekend; first year K2 athlete Patrick Lynott had a standout weekend taking 2nd place in the Super Combined on Saturday and 1st place on Sunday in the Super Combined. On Saturday NCO K2 athletes Eric Stewart and Sam Rubinoff joined Lynott on the podium. Stewart in 4th, Rubinoff 5th.
Full results can be viewed on www.acapoints.ca The FIS raced another slalom today at Sauveur and continued the solid team results. Randa Teschner solidified her presence on the J1 circuit following up her 2nd place J1 on Saturday with a 3rd place J1 today. First year FIS athlete Makena Korte-Moore also had a good day making her first top 30 flip after the first run. Makena ended up 23rd overall, 3rd in 1993 girls. In the boys, Simon Wenzowski's slalom skills were on display once again topping his career best result from Saturday with a 21st place finish on Sunday, and 71 FIS point result, very strong for his first season on the FIS circuit. Also, FIS athletes Gab Bouffard and Alex both had career best slalom point results on Sunday. |
