NCO Ski Team 2011 Camps
Mt Hood June/July June 28th to July 10th 2011
This camp is targeted and both K2s and FIS athletes. The main objective is to provide the athletes with a technical foundation for fast skiing in the future. Another objective of the camp is to promote sport enjoyment and get the athletes excited about ski racing. The low pressure environment allows the athletes to take a more objective look at their skiing and train new motor skills.

Valle Nevado, Chile Sept 15 to 30th (K2) Sept 15 to Oct 5 (FIS)
This camp is part of the FIS program and optional to K2s. The content of this camp is individually tailored based on the athlete progression from the previous camp. The camp is separated into training blocks with the 1st block continuing the foundational training from the summer and refining the skills acquired. The 2nd block will be gate training oriented in both traditional and non traditional courses. Elements of SG and DH will also be targeted for FIS athletes.
Panorama, BC FIS November 22nd to December 3rd, 2011
The camp is part of the FIS program. Goals at this camp are very individualized. J1s will continue their technical training, while J2s will focus on preparing for the race season with high volume in gates. The group may split to address individual athlete progression. All athletes at this camp will ski a high volume of gates and be exposed to race simulation type training.
Panorama, BC K2 November 26th to December 9th, 2011
This camp is part of the K2 program. This camp is geared towards foundational training for the K2 athletes with a high volume of freeskiing and drill courses. The terrain and abundance of snow at Panorama allows the K2s to get quality early season volume.
