Spring Series Report

The entire NCO Team was at the final Super Series races of the season held in Stoneham and Le Relais.  We arrived early for two days of training at Stoneham on the race track and build some confidence going into the final races.  These races are traditionally very competitive with Canadian team athletes staying after the Nationals and lots of strong US college skiers, and a few top Japanese athletes. This season was no different.  Conditions were good for the most part, but as to be expected in the spring, we had some wet weather and some chemicals to harden the snow, which makes for sometimes interesting track conditions. Unfortunately the 2nd men's GS was cancelled due to soft snow.  All in all it was a good series, great exposure for all the guys and a few point results in the end.

Makena skied great slalom, 87 point result, 2nd best this season.

Julian solid in the men's GS; Julian 2nd J1.  Mat good 1st run and Mitch good 2nd run, couldn't get two together.

Julian 4th J1 in Slalom and a point result for him, 67.

As for the overall season standings, we were strong represented on the J1 podium.  Julian taking 1st overall J1 for the season series, Randa taking 4th J1in the girls, despite being injured and missing the final events.

Mathieu Fournier was also right in there with 10 overall this season.
